RIP Brother-in-Law

Darren Hebert, 1965-2011

Darren Hebert, 46, went home to be with the Lord after a 23 year battle with cancer on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, surrounded by his family and in the loving arms of his wife and children.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the First Presbyterian Church, 522 Green St., Thibodaux, with burial at St Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Bernard Hebert; daughter, Alysa Hebert; son, Derek Hebert; granddaughters, Emma and Zoe Adams; parents, Ronnie and Carolyn Hebert; brother, Douglas Hebert; sisters, Mary Vedros, Monica Trosclair, Vickie (Jerry) Chaisson, Tonya Hebert, and Stacey (Terry) Bergeron; in-laws, Bob and Arlene Bernard; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Denis) Talbot, Nanette (Jared) Duncan; brothers-in-laws, Bobby (Marlene) Bernard and Eddie “Bush” Bernard; nieces and nephews, Shawn Hebert, Josh and David Trosclair, Olivia Bergeron, Luke Hebert, Nicole Vedros, Denis and Dana Talbot, Corey and Kathy Talbot, Melissa and Louis Voiron, Benji and Belinda Talbot, Lynette and Brian Talbot, Leslie and Rob Richard, Grant and Zach Duncan; his beloved dog, Cali; and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Odette Sevin, and Joseph and Rose Hebert; and his brother-in-law, Scott “Hoppy” Trosclair.

Darren was a Gulf War Veteran, Assistant Fire Chief for Lafourche Crossing 308 Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Thibodaux Home, Hook & Ladder Volunteer Fire Department, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
